What does The Imperial Room at The Star mean for evenings in Frisco, Texas?

The Imperial Room adds an intimate, adults-only cocktail lounge to The Star in Frisco, Texas, within walking distance of the Dallas Cowboys headquarters and the Ford Center. It opened in October 2026, next door to Cane Rosso. If you are moving to Frisco and want to picture a night out, it is one more place on the list, on a campus that already fills a calendar.

What is The Imperial Room?

The Imperial Room is a cocktail bar and lounge at 3685 The Star Blvd., Suite 200, in Frisco. Visit Frisco describes it as an intimate cocktail lounge directly next door to the Cane Rosso pizzeria, and it is an adults-only venue. It took over the space Cow Tipping Creamery used to hold.

PILF Restaurant Group, the Dallas-based company behind Cane Rosso, runs it. Gabe Sanchez curates the cocktail list, and Executive Chef Mat Urban leads the food. Tables can be reserved through OpenTable.

What is on the drink menu at The Imperial Room?

The list leans on stirred classics with house twists. The Imperial Martini comes in gin, vodka and dirty freezer versions. The Calaboose Old Fashioned uses a house rye and bourbon blend over a big rock of ice. Always Sunny in Frisco mixes Chopin vodka with a mango ginger cordial and basil, and the Imperial Room Highball pairs Japanese whisky with soda and grapefruit.

Smaller pours have a place too. The menu lists mini frozen martinis and skinny mini margaritas, and cocktails on the October 2026 menu run from $10 for a mini martini to $19 for the larger tequila drinks.

Wine comes by the glass or the bottle, from Napa and Sonoma reds to French and Italian whites and sparkling. The back pages list bourbon, rye, Scotch, Japanese whisky, tequila and mezcal, plus a tequila and mezcal service poured neat or over a big rock.

When is The Imperial Room open?

The Imperial Room opens at 5 PM, Wednesday through Sunday. It stays open until 10 PM on Wednesday and Thursday, until midnight on Friday and Saturday and until 9 PM on Sunday. Monday and Tuesday are not on its schedule.

Cane Rosso next door keeps longer hours. The pizzeria serves wood-fired Neapolitan-style pizza, pasta, salads and sandwiches. It is open until 10 PM Monday through Thursday, until 11 PM on Friday and Saturday and until 9 PM on Sunday, with brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 3 PM.

A weekday happy hour runs at Cane Rosso from 3 to 6 PM for dine-in guests. Put the two schedules together and a Friday can start with pizza at 6 and end with a nightcap before midnight, without moving the car.

What else is at The Star in Frisco?

The Star is the 91-acre campus of the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters and practice facility. The campus grew out of a partnership between the City of Frisco and Frisco ISD.

The Ford Center connects to the Cowboys headquarters. It is a 12,000-seat indoor stadium at 9 Cowboys Way, shared by the Cowboys, the City of Frisco and Frisco ISD high schools. Tostitos Championship Plaza, which The Star calls the heartbeat of the campus, has a replica 50-yard turf field and four interactive kiosks. The Dr Pepper Ring of Honor Walk honors 22 members of the Cowboys.

The Star District wraps around all of it with more than 35 restaurants, shops and specialty services. Visit Frisco lists Moxies as planned for the district in 2027. Parking at The Star District is spread across the Blue Parking Garage, the Silver Parking Garage and the Gaylord Parking Lot.

What does a new lounge at The Star mean if you are moving to Frisco?

It gives you one more way to spend an evening on a single block. The Star already holds the Cowboys headquarters and the Ford Center, and now a cocktail lounge sits within walking distance of both. A Friday night in Frisco can be a pizza dinner, a stadium event or an hour at a lounge before heading home.

That describes what is nearby. It does not set the price of any home. Price comes from the home, its condition and what similar homes nearby sold for.

Can you bring kids to The Imperial Room?

No. The Imperial Room is an adults-only lounge. Cane Rosso next door has a kids' menu, so a group with children can eat there and keep the lounge for a separate night out.

If you are relocating from out of state

You want to know what an ordinary evening looks like before you buy a house you have only seen on a screen. The Star gives you a compact example: dinner at Cane Rosso, then a cocktail next door, all on one block. On a visit, see it at night and again in the daytime, so you know how the area feels both when it is busy and when nothing is going on.

Plan one visit around a Ford Center event and one on a quiet weeknight. Seeing both tells you which version of The Star you want close to home.

My things to do in Frisco page lists more places to try during that visit, and my buying process shows how I help a relocating buyer compare areas from a distance.

How do you plan an evening at The Star?

  • Reserve through OpenTable. It is an intimate lounge, so a reservation holds your place.
  • Pick Wednesday through Sunday. The lounge opens at 5 PM on those nights and stays open until midnight on Friday and Saturday.
  • Start next door. Cane Rosso sits beside the lounge, so dinner and a cocktail stay on one block.
  • Park once and walk. The Blue and Silver garages and the Gaylord lot serve The Star District, and the Cowboys headquarters and the Ford Center are within walking distance.
  • Come back in daylight. A morning visit shows you the area when nothing is going on.
