How I Market Your Home

A listing needs a plan, not a sign in the yard

I'm Omega Mejia, a real estate agent in Frisco, Texas. Listing a home on the MLS is the starting line. What happens around it decides how many of the right buyers see your home.

This page is one step inside my full selling process. Here is what I do, and I pay for the marketing.

Step 1: Your home gets its own look

Every listing gets professional photography and a walkthrough video. Your home also gets a single-property website, so buyers see it in one place, with the photos, the video and the details together.

Step 2: The MLS, syndication and a promoted Homes.com listing

Your home goes on the MLS and is syndicated to the sites where buyers search. I also promote your listing on Homes.com, so it gets extra attention where buyers are already looking.

Step 3: Paid ads, every day

Paid ads run for your home every day while it is on the market. Boosted Zillow ads run on select homes. Homes at $800,000 and up also get a series of 21 videos, posted daily, that show the home and the lifestyle around it.

Step 4: A first-weekend open house

We hold an open house the first weekend your home is live. That is when interest is highest, and it gives buyers and neighbors a chance to walk through together.

Step 5: Outreach to the 200 homes around yours

People who live near you often know someone who wants to live nearby. I reach the 200 homes around yours, so neighbors can tell their friends and family.

Step 6: Weekly updates, so you always know what is happening

You get a weekly seller update with showings, feedback and what the marketing is doing. We review the price each month and adjust the plan when the facts call for it. See how I price your home.
